Recommended Base Sizes for Pipe and Drape

We often get questions about what size bases to use for pipe and drape displays. We put together the following guide to help you decide.

Note: These are general recommendations and your particular pipe and drape display or environment may require otherwise.

8" x 14" Slip Fit Base

8″ x 14″ slip fit bases are recommended for use with:
1.5″ diameter 3′ uprights

16" x 14" Slip Fit Base

16″ x 14″ slip fit bases are recommended for use with:
1.5″ diameter 3′ uprights, 6′, 8′, and 10′ uprights.
1.5″ diameter 3′-5′, 4′-7′, and 6′-10′ adjustable uprights.
2″ diameter 6′-10′ adjustable uprights.

18" x 18" Slip Fit Base

18″ x 18″ slip fit bases are recommended for use with: 6′-10′, 7′-12′, and 8′-14′ adjustable uprights.
2″ diameter 6′-10′, 7′-12′, and 8′-14′ adjustable uprights.

18" x 18" Powder Coated Heavyweight Slip Fit Base

18″ x 18″ heavyweight slip fit bases are recommended for use with: 2″ diameter 8′-14′ or 9′-16′ adjustable uprights.

24" x 24" Powder Coated Heavyweight Slip Fit Base

24″ x 24″ heavyweight slip fit bases are recommended for use with: 2″ diameter 10′-18′ or 12′-20′ adjustable uprights.
