LEAD RIGGER

Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced theatrical rigger to lead small teams in the installation of stage rigging, track, and curtain systems. The Lead Rigger is expected to deliver impeccable installations and excellent customer service while keeping safety as the top priority.

Key Responsibilities

-Communicating effectively and professionally with clients and vendors
-Reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications
-Thinking critically and anticipating project needs and potential conflicts
-Installing stage rigging, track, and curtain systems to exact specifications
-Driving company vehicles to venues throughout the Southeast
-Working closely with project managers and production personnel
-Collaborating with a team to ensure successful outcomes for our clients

Required Qualifications

-A positive attitude, enthusiasm, an open mind, and a willingness to learn
-A reliable self-starter who can manage time and resources on their own
-Three years of experience in technical theater or industrial rigging
-A solid understanding of theatrical rigging practices
-Driver’s license and clean driving record
-Ability to pass background checks and drug tests throughout employment
-Willingness to travel up to 50%
-Ability to climb ladders, operate personnel lifts, and work at heights comfortably
-Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for long periods
-Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
-Willingness to obtain ETCP Certification – Theater Rigging
-Willingness to obtain OSHA 30 certification

Perferred Qualifications

-Three years of experience as a professional theatrical rigger
-ETCP Certified – Theater Rigging
-OSHA 30 certified
-Experience installing motorized rigging systems, including ADC curtain motors and ETC Prodigy hoists

SEWING MACHINE OPERATOR

Must have commercial or Industrial Machine experience. Must be responsible, reliable, and punctual.

Must be able to read and understand English. A sewing test on a commercial/industrial machine will be given during your interview.
